Tax Time

Am I the only one who does taxes at more than one place?

I did 2 free online programs. It always amazes me how I can enter the same information and come up with 2 different numbers. Not largely different, but different none-the-less.

    lol... I usually run it through FOUR online services. Glad I did since for 2004 I got 2 to say one thing and 2 to say another. That at least taught me which was calculating correctly and which program wasn't. It was an error on the MA state form and was entirely software related. Just a glitch in student loan interest deduction - very easy to manipulate to the correct numbers. They all matched for 2005! I think I would have torn my hair out otherwise.... Smile

    i hate tax time... we own 3 properties, home based business, and work for laf, etc... so, i know what you are saying.. bummer time!!

    I never really thought about it, we do them by hand and then online. Might be a good idea to do it twice online next year.
